Choose a feeder size appropriate for the animal being fed. Live insects are best used as part of a varied, species-appropriate diet, and feeder care after delivery affects their condition just as much as how they were raised before shipping.
Superworms are the larvae stage of the Zophobas morio beetle. They grow to 2" in length and 1/4" in diameter. Unlike mealworms, Superworms can not pupate without each superworm being isolated for 2 weeks or so.
This is due to the constant body contact from the other larvae. They have a long shelf life, are easily digestible by many reptiles, birds, fish, and mammals. Chickens love them.
Do not Refrigerate. Refrigeration can kill Superworms!
