If you have one of the very first 5lb scales Stamps.com sent out for using their service, it didn't have a lcd to see the weights. You had to install their software to read the weights and it was only made to work for their program. Howevver as time went on some people wrote an app for the computer that could read the data from the scale and released it for folks to use outside of their software.

It's been deleted at several sites and I luckily had it saved to a disk, so I have decided to upload it for those looking for it.
