Our Homestead

Pritchett's Small Pets is part farm, part family project, part breeding program, and part never-ending workshop. Poultry and quail may be the most visible part of what we do, but the homestead also includes gardening, incubation, animal care, equipment building, repairs, experiments, and the everyday work required to keep everything moving.

Built Around Practical Work

We prefer practical solutions. If a feeder, cage, brooder, incubator, watering system, garden setup, or piece of equipment can be improved, we are likely to experiment with it. Some ideas become long-term tools; others simply teach us what not to do next time.

Family, Animals & Learning

The homestead is where our family life and animal work overlap. We learn by doing, keep the parts that work, change the parts that do not, and share useful information when we think it can help someone else.

Biosecurity Is Part of the Homestead

Because this is both our home and a working animal property, it is not open for tours. Customer access is limited to designated pickup procedures.
