Why can live-feeder counts vary slightly?

Live products may be packed with an over-count where appropriate to help account for normal transit loss. The current shipping policy explains the terms that apply to each shipment.

Does cold weather affect shipping?

Yes. Some live products require supplemental warmth or a heat pack under the conditions listed in our Shipping, Returns & Live Arrival Policy.

Should live feeders be left in the shipping container?

Not longer than necessary. Transfer them to appropriate species-specific housing and provide the correct ventilation, temperature, food, and moisture conditions.

Can I use feeder animals immediately?

That depends on the species and condition on arrival. Inspect the shipment and follow proper care before feeding or breeding them.

What if something arrives in poor condition?

Contact us promptly and follow the documentation and timing requirements on the applicable shipping/live-arrival policy.
